Brian Moore

I'm Brian Moore I grew up in Coventry, Rhode Island. I developed a severe stuttering disfluency as a toddler which continued through college. I attended the University of Rhode Island graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders in 2004. My continual passion and perseverance helped me completely overcome my personal disfluency and prepare me to help others. I've enjoyed the last 15 years working with children and adults diagnosed with autism and developmental disabilities.

I worked for 9 years at Bradley Hospital, the nation's first psychiatric hospital exclusively for children, as therapist and counselor. I then moved to Florida to be closer to my parents and escape from the snowy blizzards of Rhode Island. I’ve continued my passion for working with families, adults, and children as a Mental Health Clinical Specialist for Florida Hospital and as a Behavior Therapist in Port Orange. I am excited to be providing families in Florida services as an Infant and Toddler Development Specialist/Speech and Language Pathology Assistant, working with a great team of therapists and clinicians at Hope Harbor Therapies. Thank you for taking your time to get to know me and if there is anything I can do to help you, please give me a call.
